Form data is stored in the site’s database and sent by email to the controller. You must accept this policy to submit a form; optional fields are marked as such. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request and, afterwards, for a maximum of two years from our last communication, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. After that, we delete it or keep it blocked while legal liabilities may arise and for the applicable limitation periods. If the relationship leads to a commission, we will keep the information that tax and commercial law require.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes. The following providers (data processors) may access it solely to provide their service to us:
- Web hosting provider (Hostinger), where the site and its data are stored.
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 (Google), to protect the forms from spam.
- CookieYes, to manage your cookie consent.
We may also disclose data to authorities when required by law.
5. International transfers and third-party resources
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Such transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
In addition, the site loads some technical resources from third-party servers (Google Fonts typefaces and code libraries from unpkg.com). When a page loads, those servers may receive your IP address and technical data from your browser.
6. Your rights
You can exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing), by writing to hi@ggeztranslations.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
This site is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under that age, please do not give us your data without the authorisation of your parents or guardians.
9. Third-party links
The site may contain links to third-party websites whose privacy policies we do not control. We recommend reviewing them before sharing your data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or site changes. The current version, with its update date, will always be published here.
